Alright guys, where's Windows 3.1. Let's not forget about the 3.1, for those of us that used it and can actually remember it. Let's think of the reasons why we loved it: 16-bit processing, 8 characters max for the file names, all the grey and blue, the 5 1/4" floppies (none of that 3.5" bs), the 650 MB hard drives, the 12 inch monitors, the 16 MB of RAM, the AT form factor. Ah yes, the good old days, back when computer could be computers and nobody would question it. But now, they collect dust like relics of the computer industry's more nostalgic years.
Just run "progman" in win2k.....! *old software never dies.... its just archived for bloatware* *edit* ... i really meant "progman"! Hoinest!

You may think i'm joking but Tesco still use 3.1 in the back office for running off shelf labels and plannograms. The ".Com" shopping uses server 2003 with all the trolleys running xp pro on wireless tablets for the actual shopping bit. hmm wireless shopping *drool*

Oh, sweet jesus, why? I love windows 3.1 (seriously, I'm not kidding), and I actually buy 3.1 hard drives from people. I've got nearly 30 of them.
