Do you mean Windows 2000 Pro or Windows 2000 Server?
There is no such thing as Windows 200 Profeesional Server Edition.
AAAHHHH!!! OS 9.1! Upgrade to 9.2.2. Deals with the hardware more directly making it more stable.
I have XP Pro on home and work PC. SUSE 8.0 on Web/Email server, and OS X on G3 Powerbook.
XP Pro on The Laptop & The Lian
Smoothwall Linux firewall
Mandrake 8.2 on the serevr (When I've built it!)

I will go back to XP when the next Service Pack comes out, to unstable for me. I crashed it plenty of times, but then again I do a lot of beta. I haven't crashed Win2kPro in the entire time I've used it I believe.
would it not make more sense to stay with 2K then?
IMO 2K is the best m$oft os around stable, fast and supports pretty much everything
