here is my new place, just got everything how i like it
i love my set up
That's my uni room, I'm at home now for Christmas (I think I posted my home room a few pages back). I think 'cozy' would be the best description
Main setup now. Just got the 17" and decided to do a little cleanup. 17" displays song and album info as well as chats. 23" Displays news via newsmap.jp .
And yes, my 360 is a monitor stand. The really isn't anywhere else for it.
Printer is hooked to the main computer with a looooong usb cable. Laptop charges and shows my social updates with Tweetdeck as well as syncs my phone whenever it is near. Phone charges right next to it and servers as an alarm clock. My netbook sits on the drawers for when I go to class.
And now for an artsy image.
Left my i7 rig and right my sli rig
After a clean up and a change around.
What the **** is going on with that Ferengi head?
Kinda of an old pic now, but w.e.
clownfart, what keyboard is that? looks amazing!
Yeah He tried to sell me somthing so I shot him LOL the neighbours are next.
Filco Majestouch? Mechanical switches and reviews are good.
Yup, did a fair bit of googling. I quite like the keyboard. Unfortunately, "not available in the real world" (also known as "I can't afford to order and ship it unless I sell a kidney").
That used to be a corner desk I bet, same as mine, considered doing it like that but I like my monitor on the corner bit
I finally got my room sorted a little bit today, so I thought I could finally submit some pics and also take part in this thread
Here they are (sorry for quality, low light and high ISO):
This is my work desk....
From left to right - Dell 19" screen connected to a Dell XPS 420 tower under the desk, LG 19" and 22" screens, Avaya telephone, Dell Precision M90 laptop on a docking station.
@bestseany has the Dell logo on your 420 fallen off at all? Mine fell off about a week or two after buying it.
Yeah it cost me quite a bit just to get it across the border. About $50 CAD.
No, the Dell logo is still on nice and secure. It's nearly 2½ years old too now.
How do you people get such good computers at work? I've got a sh*tbox thin-client.
After a major 7 hour clean up >.<
