Here's my current setup - I went from dual monitors back to a single screen setup. I just found it easier to use as my previous main use was to have FF running on 2nd screen while playing WoW....

I now use the other screen for my MBP, has Mac OSX/Windows 7/Debian on a triple boot :)
I know I need to sort the cables, but I really can't be bothered :D

And yes, this is not today's weather.... PS3, Xbox 360 and network printer sat underneath TV.

Wow, just realised how bad those cables are. Think that can be my Christmas project...

New (old, freebie) shelf to help with the excess stuff, new (old, freebie) chair to help with the back and new (old, freebie) third screen just for shits and giggles:

Also while I was at it, i took a couple of shots from the modding shack:

Maybe we should also start a "show your modding shack/garage"-thread

And ofcourse feel free to +rep if you feel like turning the whole living room into a modding shack is the right thing to do ;)

I like the lighting of your place, jipa. I love my place but it's way too dark. This kind of light would make it even better

Yeah I pretty recently got a couple of 58 W fluorescent tubes, installed one to the modding shack and one to my room. Some might consider the light too "sterile" or whatnot, but I just love the brightness and whiteness of the light they give. Here's a comparison shot with the old halogen spot and the new lights:

I couldn't believe the difference! With the old lamp I was constantly using a table lamp or getting frustrated with fine print on components, with the new one I can easily take photos without flash. (camera settings here on manual and at sun light WB, so usually it looks even better..)

Besides, I already built some dimmer led-lights for those Barry White-moments when you want a bit dimmer/moodier lighting :naughty: (gonna make some more of these as soon as I get the leds and have time)

Okay, at long last, here is my workroom/study in the new apartment. Finally got things set up relatively well, even though the table is loaded with parts and other crap. Oh and please excuse the fuzzy... crappy camera phone. Well, lazy me not upping the resolution is more like it.

System is in a Lian Li 351R case, Core i5 760 running stock, an EVGA 460GTX, Asus motherboard (forget the model atm) and using onboard sound until I install the Asus Xonar DG sound card. 2 2gb DDR3 Ram. Those are the limited edition M-Audio BX5a nearfield monitors for speakers and dual 23.6 Asus 242H lcd panels. Razer Naga Lava edition mouse and Logitech illuminated keyboard.

If everyone is nice I might take photos of the setup in my bedroom once that's done. ;)

lol awesome. Your unit to the right of your desk reminds me greatly of some of the furniture likely to be found on the set of that old show 'art attack'.
