They are! washed mine in the machine on 30/40 a couple times now, toss it in with some towels works like a charm. I also always use the short program setting.

Well I chucked it in the washing machine. Huge success! It has come out looking a treat aside from a little mark in the middle which I think is pretty much on there forever now.

    Well that saved me £15.

    Ah yes, good point :duh:

Main source is the computer, usual mix of FLAC and Foobar. Optical out into a Musical Fidelity X-24K DAC (beercan shape, can just about make it out sat on the printer there). The amp is the Unison Research Unico integrated. That's the most recent addition and something I've lusted after for about the past 10 years since I first heard it.

Speakers are Triange Celius Esw, basically the precursors to the current Antals. Again a fairly recent acquisitions.

Yes, they are pretty sizeable. Having said that, they don't sound too much in the room at all, despite nominally being designed for rooms 2-3 times the size. Quite possibly the best £300 I've ever spent.

I think final list price was about that; these are about fourth hand, having gone round a few members of www.hifiwigwam.com which is a forum I frequent. It does mean that I know to varying degrees everyone who's ever owned them. The last guy needed to shift them relatively quickly to make way for upgrades so that was what they were offered at. TBH even at £500 they'd have been a bargain.

With baby number 2 only 6ish weeks away i've had to move out of the 'spare' room and into the living room.

A quick trip to ikea for a desk and some other bits to make the trip worthwhile. Its plenty big enough, although i'm now thinking about putting the computer inside one of the bookcase sections instead of having a case on the desk.

Just need to sort out the cabling behind the monitor and order a new mouse mat.

Seems like I am a bit late to the party. Yes it is a Sidewinder X4. Very nice keyboard for the price. Sturdy, good quality, nice lighting and the keys feel solid when pressing them.
