Haha! Hey, that phone is legit - the university have their own switchboard so I can call any land line in the university for free :)

    I bought a 6x750g bulk pack from amazon for £20 :p

Why won't the man that collects the recycling come to my room as opposed to the end of the driveway? It's so far...

:jawdrop: How many bottles do you stack up before you take them to recycle.

I hope you're not using that stuff as liquid cooling fluid.

On a more serious note, doesn't that fan get in the way of viewing the monitor on the right, or do you move it to somewhere more suitable when at the PC?
Also, that's a lot of icons on the desktop screen.

I wait until my parents get so irritated by the bottles that they bring the recycling bag to my room. The fan is just far forward enough so that when I sit at the desk I can see the 2nd monitor around it- mouse movement is more the problem.

Everyone I know says I have tons of desktop icons, but I never think of it as a lot. They're all shortcuts to games, anyway. I simply type the first letter of the game, and it comes up! Genius.

HA! my parents do the same thing!

Do you ever walk in when they've done it and wonder why it suddenly looks so clean??

No, Not like that. My parents aren't that nice. They'll bring the bag upstairs with all of the smelly rubbish in it and just leave it in my room till I get rid of the bottles.

Your parents sound quite kind. To get me up in the morning, mine waterboard me in my bed, which is 'refreshing'.

My new setup with another u2410 on the desk, great setup for my uni work here:

Also around £300 worth of W/C stuff that has been sitting there for around 3 or 4 months, really need to get that fitted.

Finally plenty of space. Now I just need a wider desk and/or stands for the speakers. And a carpet!

They are battery backups I got years ago, one for file server and network, the other for gaming computer and monitors. I got them because they were the thinnest available.

Current setup since getting my 27" monitor the other day

    Middle is the 27",
Top right is rotating 24" for my server
little 8" on the left is a touchscreen as a keyboard for the server machine
    others are regular 22" 1080p's

Pretty much as tidy as it gets (for me!) e-cigarette charger attached to G19 USB port, Naga molten for Xsplit button goodness :) (extra ROG Mouse on the right for server)

My main rig is hidden behind the 27", and my server is under the desk sideways against the wall.

Made the "desk" myself with my crude unskilled sausage like hands. Jigsawed a section out the middle for the new monitor to fit in ^-^

Last three show the kick board I have added to stop mucky feet marking the wall - a mate of mine that does loads of office installs tipped me off about it, works very well indeed.
