Recently got a chance to re-do my bedroom/gaming room. Sorry for the mess.. It's still a work in progress. The computer on the floor is for Streaming only. I'm not going to put any stress on my Gaming rig (which is on the desk and in my sig) [IMG]

    Sorry for the potato pic.

Been redoing my rack lately, not finished yet, but it is getting closer :)

My main computer is the one with the red on it.. red makes things faster, true fact.
I have this in my basement, and some tubing to get all the cables up one floor to where I have my screens and stuff, so it is totally silent where I sit. (but very messy at the moment, so no pictures of this yet)

    List of stuff from top and down;
-Reservor and radiators for the watercooling in the main computer. (on top of rack)
    -Cisco 24port managed switch
-Ubiquiti POE-switch (powers the Wlan-APs aroud my house) and a Ubiquiti USG
    -Main computer (Xeon E5-2699V3)
-computer for use at rack, 7" touchscreen on front, and also connected to KVM/monitor
-Server for OpenHAB and other smart-home stuff
-VMware server, some strange Dell thing with 4 motherboards inside
    -open space for future stuff.
-16-port KVM with keyboard, mouse and monitor in a 1U drawer
    -Fileserver
-drawer for misc cables and documentation
-Some temporary WD-nases while I am moving back into my upgraded fileserver
    -2x Eaton 9130, 3000VA UPSes

Still need to get some more display items (and find a way to display the 690 and Titan properly) but I am quite pleased with the outcome. My new chair isn't a looker but it is so comfy for my back.

^^^ Not natural for a desk to be so completely free of clutter, how the hell do you do it?

Thanks for getting back to me. Not quite the right size for me unfortunately. I was after something 120cm x 75cm or 120cm x 80cm. Looking at that it might be too cramped having two Alex drawer units with only a 120cm desktop on top as the leg gap looks about right but with a 150cm top on.

Yeah 150mm would be the minimum based on how I have it setup. My chair fits in the middle with around 50mm either side of clearance.

You could always off centre over both Alex units but if you were to do that you may as well get the larger desktop.

Maybe one Alex unit and standard legs on the other side would work?

^^ Do you have any issues with GPU cooling in that case?

Id imagine its all fine, just the inner airflow nerd.

Yeah s'all good. The PSU shroud is well ventilated (almost too ventilated, in that you can see the cables hiding under there if you look at the right angle!), and I removed the HDD's cages so the 200mm intake has a pretty much unobstructed path to feed the GPU... Not that it needs it, the fans only spin up for a few seconds before it drops back under the limit and turns them off again.

I swear, people are so into RGB that I want to do it too. When I can afford an upgrade, i'm going to RGB it so much that people will think i've got a mini-vegas in my living room.
