The amp I have, Kenwood KR-710. Small 35wpc vintage, it's nice for a small room though. Next to it are my AKG K340 electrostatic headphones.

This is my roommates almost identical KR-725, and his similar AKG K240 headphones.

View out my window. The trees kinda get in the way.

Bah...kids these days. No history. Must have never used an old IBM clacker, since you'd have no need to ask that question if you had.

Yep it's a model M. ancient and still running strong.

I got it a few years ago when my high school was throwing out a ton of old computer stuff. It's served me well since.

I know a few US sites that sell them, not sure about the UK. In case you missed my window shot of the Empire State Building, I'm not in the UK :hehe:

Ive got one of the new G15's and they are as awesome as ive been told, the keys are relatively quieter than most keyboards, with like a rubbery feel to them.
The keys do seem a bit smaller mind as i keep pressing the left most bottom G key for ctrl but thats as on my old keyboard id stick my hand to the farthest left of the keyboard, i need to get out that habit.

The lcd is handy, esp in games, i use a teamspeak monitor to know whos joined left and talking, i can mute mic / speakers with 2 buttons below the lcd, the latest fraps has got an inbuilt display on the board so no horrible overlay + displays a histograph on the lcd, also the clock is handy as i dont own a watch....

Lol, I've used that keyboard before, I don't know what the fuss is about them. Granted I didn't learn how to type on one or never had owned that keyboard, so it holds no personal value.

If you want a mechanical keyboard I'd go with a DAS. Plus a DAS Keyboard would look much more attractive. :p

Why do people like those things? I used one for years, and I can't think of a keyboard I've liked using less.

But then again, I value my hearing.

    That it is.

The big speakers are not part of the setup sc4mpi has. Its the Logitech Z5400 (5.1) series, so about 2 models down from the massive Z5500 series. From when i was last there, very good sounding, and not as expensive as the Z5500.

    Hope this helps.

    Sam

Ninja Edit: It seems the Z5400 are no longer made, and are not on Logitechs UK site, plus, having done a google shopping search, it seems that they are no longer stocked. Check ebay, sure someone will be selling them on there.
Oh, and the approx price is £140 up.
