No, he spends too much time taking pictures of his setup to ever use it for a prolonged period.

the second set was so cheap i couldn't let it go to anyone else, when both sets are used with my 18-55mm set at 55mm i can see atoms, however it dose require a massive amount of light to work!

yeah standard V1000B+ with a 120mm fan in the top and a 120mm fan grill supplied by MDK (for free) :D

needed the fan as my 8800GTS was a tad toasty!

These are expensive 2,500ma ones, and I get a couple hundered shots out of them, then a 5 hour re-charge.

    Tis quite irritating...

Sorry about the rather poor pic - batteries decided to die on me before setting it up for a decent shot. And I need more lighting in my room.

another shot, starting to run out of room on my desk here! i love having dual screens, i cant see how a managed on a single screen for so long!

its a little annoying as i have to track off the right of the 24in to get on to the 17in to the left. if you understand what i mean do you know a way to fix this?

Swap the DVI connectors over on the GPU? Or put the 17" on the other side :thumb:

Hm.. I'll have to let my dad know. He works with (theoretically) atomic-level microscopes and still doesn't get as much detail :p
