Gordy, that logitech mouse, is that the old school logitech MX revolution? Does it link via bluetooth to the MBP? Or do you have to use another adapter for it?

I don't know of an "old school" MX Rev - I got the first one that came out, it's RF (I think) but it works flawlessly with no drivers or software required on my Mac Pro and PowerBook at home, and on my XP and Vista boxes at work.

There is only one version of the mx revolution at present though I believe they are working on a bluetooth version. It uses a small rf reciever, you can just make it out plugged into the left hand side of my keyboard.

Ahhh I see. I may hold off on that one then. I would really like a good bluetooth mouse but I don't want more things to put in USB slots which are always at a premium on my MBP. I will kepp looking. Thanks.

I have used 2 different MX1000's on 2 different machines. One was the original RF version, and the other was bluetooth. Both worked fine. The RF one just recently started going crazy, so I replaced it with a MX518. The bluetooth MX1000 is still going strong.

I had the rf version before I bought the mx revolution and they are a great mouse. However the mx rev is much better. It fits the hand better is lighter and has the extra features. :)

If they ever release a bluetooth version of it I'll get it in a heartbeat as it will mean one less thing plugged in.

    Thanks :)

I've been using a Logitech v470 with my iMac for some time now and can say it's excellent. The battery life bluetooth gives is awesome compared to other wireless peripherals.

Nice Bass  ! I used to have a Diplomat short-neck till a friend borrowed it for a jam session and smashed it through a valve amp! I was more than a little annoyed!

Ahh - yeah... A Marshall Quad. You could say that One was a tad Miffed. I haven't had the heart to replace the bass yet (this happened quite a few years ago) and shortnecks are notoriously hard to come by. I've been looking at a few 5- and 6-string basses lately though.

He thought he was being Punk and Bad-A**. Went all "Keith Moon" on the bass :( (yes I know Keith Moon was the drummer but he was the nearest thing I know to a human equivalent of Animal from the muppets!)

Oddly enough I haven't spoken to or even seen him in many years.

Hoping to get a bass again soon so I can get back in practice and introduce my boy to music :)

Ahh - you see you're a mathematician. We do complex calculations involving symbols and lots of greek letters - then once the formula is complete we feed it into a computer (It's why we invented the blessed things in the first place). We don't need to add.
