And Stringer says he's happy to take his chances. "The price of the PS3 is high, but you're paying for potential," he told Tokyo journalists in late June. It's the risk of being "revolutionary rather than just evolutionary on the cheap."

I think if any console is going to be "revolutionary" it would be nintendo in the long run.

WTF is revolutionary about the PS3?!

It's been revolutionary bad so far.

*Insert rant* (I've ranted way too many times about the PS3, I don't think I can be assed today)

I know it has been posted before but the point im trying to make is he is right because sony hasn't and wont give us any good news other than saying how revolutionary it is without giving us any good feckin news. If anything has raw-potential it is the Wii although...MGS on the PS3 is pretty mind blowing but on that 100$ a game??

Could somone tell me what sony is thinking? Honestly after everyone ranting about them somone should have a good idea what their general plan is.

their general plan seems to be to swindle a large amount of the public into buying a glorified waffel iron and release some ps2 games with better graphics then dissapear ;)

Why will the Wii be more fun? Please explain.
...Actually I know what you're gonna say. But I disagree, because it's just going to be a different kind of fun, with the two having different kinds of gameplay. Just as with films and games, consoles and PC, they have different kinds of fun, and now we'll see different kinds of fun amongst the consoles on offer. Anyway, I don't really care whatever happens, because I'll be happy either way, as I'm getting all four :).

No I hate the idea of another console joining the wars, and so I hope the Phantom and the other alike it, flops. I meant a next-generation fully-fledged Windows Vista PC, with a 65nm CPU, DDR2 RAM, etc, which I will assemble myself, as always.
Sorry for the double post. Bit-Tech forum doesn't have a post delete link :wallbash:.

    lol!

I think, as someone above mentioned, the Wii is gonna be much more revolutionary.

It looks like the kinda console I could get my girlfriend playing using the funny controller thing for games like tennis.
