this thread is horrendous. The thing about 4chan is that every single one of its users are attention whores, and whenever anything vaguely related to 4chan, or its subsidiaries pops up in the media, it turns into one massive spamming shitfest of memes, with them thinking they are really cool being part of this secret society, and how amazing it is. In reality, it isnt. 99% of 4chan users ARE basement dwelling social outcasts, and for that exact reason is why all the ****ed up **** appears. Scat threads, cp and loli threads, dead people and gore threads are all a common occurence. Its disgusting in /b/, but everywhere else the discussion is actually quite good. I frequent 4chan, but that is simply because i frequent the internet. After perusing /b/ for a few months, you realise its the same **** posted all over again, and whenever anything good happens anyway, it reaches all of the other boards pretty quickly. /g/ and /v/ are far more interesting discussions, even if they do still have stupid memes that ruin it.
