Not gone through with it myself yet, but looked in to it. Once signed up I understand you get billed in Rupees regardless of where connecting from. Reddit is where I came across this hack.
Admittedly YouTube has been annoying me more than usual recently; they're really hammering me with LinkedIn at the moment.
