    Hi all,
Just finished up a micro ATX build with Asus Gryphon Z87 and it's thermal armor. I found that, unless your heatsink has very specific mounts for 1150, it will have difficulty fitting under/over the thermal armor. I used the CNPS14X. I actually couldn't get this combo to fit.

I was looking at the Zalman CNPS9900 as an alternative. Max height for the case is 160mm. Has anyone tried this option?

No overclocking here.. just looking for quiet cooling.

    Thanks

Slight update. NONE of the Zalman heatsinks will fit under the thermal armour due to the size of the adapter brackets which are essentially the same for all of their 1150/1155etc socket coolers.

Do any of the all-in-one water coolers fit, such as the corsair H series, etc.? Pretty sure they're relatively small mounting brackets.
