I think you have to give him more credit than that! He put a lot of hard work into getting where he is. Yes he has resources, but its not like someone just gave them to him. Also, as far as I have seen he has done the most daring and crazy s*** to his components than anyone else. (not to mention that they look beautiful) Anyways, Congrats Zap! Cant wait to see how the Media PC turns out....especially with the Laser Cutter!!
did anyone get a stream of that TSS? i wish i had gotten to watch it.. zap, you are a god at this stuff. just make sure you do more crazy stuff with this cutter... way crazy stuff.
Taxes? That seems odd, shame. Not surprised Zap won really, looking at the entries the only contender really was the Matrix one.
Nice work Zap! Well I hope you can keep it. Seems a shame to have to sell it after your big win and all. And how long till we can see the media pc finshed?
$4300 should easily be achieved before April using the machine, Zap, you should put an ad in your local freeads paper for engraving services etc etc etc, is there a local market etc? I liked the stone engraving shown by Yoshi, perhaps you could advertise a service where you shoot a portrait with a digicam then "print" it out onto stone.
Congratulations, Zap! I voted for you This means that construction of the case for the Media PC will begin shortly, right? Someone mentiones taxes here. Do you have to pay tax on something you won? Anyway, great job, man!
Edit - didn't believe this but Dad filled me in - that just seems crazy . I'm glad I live in Australia! (though we don't really have any big modding comps to speak of...) Well done Zap. A well deserved win that justifies all your hard work!
