well i seem to remeber som1 looing for a clear keyboard but i cant find the post http://svc.com/mmkybclr-wht-22.html so here it is hope it helps
Good find. I may order one of those sometime. It doesn't look like it has enough room for a cold cathode, but it would probably still be easy to light up.
Is that a problem?? Just wanted to give a complement!! If you had looked a bit better you would have seen i'm new, and just found out about this site. Duhhh.
Wow - This thing has been completed for 8 months, (almsot 9,) and it's still getting new posts..... FYI - Seeing this case in Maximum PC is what brought me to bit-tech I'm sure I said it earlier in the thread, but really great job on this.
Hey, I don't mind! I keep wanting to upgrade this to 64-bits, but I have a two new project in line. Pro-project: Kingston HyperX Demo PC Personal Project: LaserPC (Real title and theme to be revealed later)
Umm, if I didn't read wrong. You said that you got the LCD for free. I suppose this has been asked already, but where did you get it?
Question: Where did you get that "plastic grilling" (if that is the right name). I want to use some on my computer but can't find it anywhere.
Zapwizard, you are the greatest artist ever! Are you going to add 802.11g to this Ammo Box PC or is there no room left for that?
Thanks, glad to see there is still interest. www.colemans.com (if they still cary them) I got it from a friend who works on servers. It was given to me "broken" but really only needed a new power connector. www.allelectronics.com is where I got it, they have it on and off there. There is still room (I have one PCI-slot free) Will I do it? No. In all actualy I haven't touched the Ammo PC in months. I hauled it up to Quakecon a few months back, but never actualy ran it, as I took the ATI PC into the event. (Faster and better graphics, plus newere project) Basicly it is a conversation piece more then a gaming PC. I have other plans for future projects, rather then upgrade the Ammo PC again.
The board is a microATX, it is installed verticly, and sideways if you look at the case as it normaly stands. See the images here: http://www.zapwizard.com/LANPC/Upgrade/index.html
