Indeed, it's so bothersome to see posts with nothing but "Great job zap!" or "I like it" or "I spent xx amount of hours reading the thread"

Damn, I forgot to mention asking a question that has been answered >17 times in the thread.

So Zap, how did you set up the IPAQ as a LCD screen?

Despite all the spamming I will answer questions:
I didn't hack the IPAQ's screen, but the entire IPAQ, in all reality it is still a fully functional IPAQ, without the battery though.

Folks this project is getting pushed even further back though,
I am moving this month, so there goes a few weeks.
I am building a replacement for my main PC, and I am now building a new shuttle PC for a company, that takes priority before all others.

You should get a house. Mortages here are only a little more than rent. Plus you would have a whole garage to turn into a mod shop. In fact I need to move to my garage because my 4th bedroom, which is my computer workshop:dremel:, is busting at the seams. It's like a computer graveyard in there.

    I love macs,
    Ilove macs,
    I love macs,
    I hote windows,
    I hate windows,
    I love linux...

Did I mention I like macs.

Was it really necessary for you to reply to a two month old message with that? There's always going to be the people who love macs and the people who hate them. So what? This isn't the place to discuss the various merits and demerits. This is a great project guys, let's keep it on topic!

No one cares whether you prefer Windows or Mac. I know I don't, and I'm going to take a stab in the dark and guess mclean007 doesn't either.

if you're going to dig up threads, don't make a stupid post.

    Awsome mod

This is possibly one of the coolest mods I have ever seen, only topped by your Ammo Case mod. Said Ammo Case mod has inspired me to do a simular mod for my college computer, but it will never be better than the original.

Just a thought; I have found ATI's media system lacking in recording and timeshifting features (I have an ATI AIW 8500). I would recomend that you you use SnapStream instead. It works almost exactly like Tivo and is compatible with almost all TV tuners. It would make the PC a LOT easier to use, I think.

    PEACE

Wow.... ZapWizard, you are a ModGod! :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

On a side note, I always found it amusing that most project logs average ~50 posts. ZapWizard averages roughly 1007. Plus or minus, of course.

Edit, as this did not deserve a whole 'nother post:
You apparently hate spellcheck too. /me thwaps!
