Hey Zap, you've announced that your next project was going to be the media PC, is this the beginnings of that project? or did you get side tracked?

 

What are you talking about? The cooling problems were sorted out about 18 months ago, there was an entire site devoted to it somewhere. I think they are out of production now, though, but I managed to get one - it's sitting on my desk


Don't know why Zap is using wood - ceramic is a much better metawave conductor

The parts for the Media PC is sitting in my desk, but it is still on hold.
This project is to replace my main PC, which is has too many experiment mods, and looks like frankenstein.

 

Well, I see what looks similar to your GF-FX5900 watercooled TruSpace visualizations on procooling. No surprise there... and possibly a wooden prototype frame. Maybe to be made out of plexi? Can that versa laser to angled edge cuts??? If so, that and IPS Weld-On will be your friends

 

so when can we expect something else to be added to this thread.

i know the media pc is on hold but is there any chance of updates any time soon or are you going to make us wait a year the suspense is killing minute by minute (when are you going to finish it)
