    You should be fine running the CPU and GPUs in parallel I reckon. I'm basing this off of this build where he does just that.

    Thanks Maki, that gives me good hopes :)

    Would the addition of the mobo waterblock change much? Does anyone know how restictive the stock Asus block is (Maximus Formula VI) and if the EK version is less/more restrictive?

    Hmm not sure, mobo blocks do tend to be pretty much just tubes with no fins etc. so shouldn't really affect things much I'd have thought. But then again, do you really need it? If you're doing a complete parallel config with both the GPUs and CPU, I'd have thought it would only clutter things up including the mobo? Then again, your ideas have all been cool and clean so far so you no doubt have a cool plan to avoid that anyway.

    Including the mobo block will make it a bit more messy, I'm going to have to use some diagonal tubing to get it all connected without using a gazillion fittings. Leaving the mobo block out of the loop might be the best option looks wise.

    Another small issue with this loop is draining, with the loop filled it's going to be a pain to drain the gpu's and the cpu. But then again, since I've filled my Inverted build over 2 years ago I've never drained it once, so it's not a big issue.

    Thanks again for the advise, gives me the confidence to continue :)

    With the loop issue out of the way I've continued on some other parts of the case.

    First I've finished the trim for the controller, I've cut a piece of plexi to the same shape as the alu panel I already had, and inserted 2 orange leds from behind to light up the edges of the plexi. (It looks a bit yellow in the picture, but it is orange.)

    [IMG]

    I've also changed the leds in the Corsair AF120 LED fans from white to orange. Added a resistor to get a smoother glow (Sorry for the crappy pictures, low light isn't ideal for pics, but in full light the leds are hard to show)

    To continue I need a couple of new rads (the ones I have won't fit) so I ordered them last night, unfortunately one is on backorder, so I'll have to wait a few days.

    Question;

    Any aquaero users here? What would be the best way to connect the fans? Can I combine 3 fans on 1 channel on the Aquaero, and still control them?

    Just touching on the parallel loop again,be aware of the CPU block you use,you need a very high flow/low restriction block for best performance,coupled with high restriction GPU blocks.

    Red on OCN had a full parallel rig that took 3 D5's to provide acceptable pump power,it was a quadfire setup tho.

    Great progress Meelobee. I really dig the lighting.

    I have the same setup as you and I think you should be fine with the loop.

    I do have mine going from Pump-->SB block-->GPU1-->GPU2-->CPU-->MOFSET-->Rad-->Res.

    I wish I had the tools to measure the pressure and let you know how it would work the other way around.

    Give me a link to the tools and I'll what I can do.

    As some of you might know Skyrip has been working on a custom series of fittings called Illumitubes. He recently finished the first batch and I have received 10 of them for the 720 build!

    The ones I'm going to use have an orange insert

    [IMG]

    [IMG]

    And many more insert colours are available
    [IMG]

    Each fitting is made from 8 parts;

    2 fittings on a EK Supremacy block

    Leds on!

    Wiring is still prototype, will look much better for the final versions

    These fittings are available in a very limited number. If interested keep an eye on Skyrip's facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/MMTDcooling A second batch is due somewhere halfway october.

    Build looks great! And yes, you can connect multiple fans to one channel on the Aquaero without issue:)

    You have 2 tubes, Illuminati has 3 sides. 3 - 2 = 1. Illuminati has 1 eye. Illuminatitubes confirmed!
