Education Zombie invasion, Are you prepared?

    I have yet to acquire a gun, but my "gypsy/spear stick thing" is pretty hoss. It cut a broom stick in half pretty easily. The stick is around 150 cm long, with simple physics I've found the speed of the blade at the end to be traveling around 110 kph or ~68 mph.
    Next on my list is my Oxygen Acetylene tanks and a 230 amp AC/DC welder. + lots of scrap metal.
    molotov cocktails? Got lots of glass bottles and rags. Tesla coil, generator, heater And the list goes on.

    If the zombies wait until after January's paycheck, I should be prepared. Most shotguns are listed under "hunting weapons" here, for which you need a hunting permit. The process of which is basically ask and ye shall receive. Vive la France!

    I keep my .22 Loaded and ready to go with about 500 rounds of Ammo in reserves (High velocity Hollow points :) )

    +1 to the shotgun, however single shot is abit slow if there's lots.

    baseball bat works pretty well 2 i hear :D

    M61 Vulcan plus enough caffeine pills and other crap to keep me awake should hold me over till someone more prepared comes across my path, at which point I shoot them and take all their stuff.

    Pfft. I have a sword and enough know-how and gear in my flat to make a crossbow easily enough. Shotgun is good and all, but I'd rather be quiet and avoid the hordes.

    No guns for me, Ill be dual wielding a small single handed axe and a framing hammer similar to this[​IMG]

    Ive got boxes of large nails, its surprisingly quick to load a nail too, Im sure i could make them look like pinhead :D
