Do you mean dyslexic?
aggh so tempting but it is alot of money
i will also have to buy a new psu, but i was going to upgrade that at some point anyway
what psu would you get? im thinking of 850-1000w not sure which
I think TSB is aiming for dyspraxic. Dyspraxia can affect planning of movements and co-ordination as a result of brain messages not being accurately transmitted to the body.
Enermax are good as are Corsair/Seasonic. I'd probably go for 1000W, as it'll give you loads of headrooms for future upgrades or extra GTX590s
Dyspraxia is a condition often confused with dyscalculia - i.e. difficulty with numbers. I think TSB was referring to the fact that the seller is asking for a £220, a price more appropriate to a 560 than a 590.
The two conditions often exist side by side, along with dyslexia.
Factoids, gotta love 'em!
Post about numbers containing numerical error............brain=fried lol
my dad talked me out of it.. for now :/
he said it looked exceedingly dodgy and that i would be foolish to buy it
i havent mentioned this, but the seller made his account 2 days ago, and has 0 rep lol, so he made it just for this item probs
Good man, you could be send a back of rocks instead of the card lol
I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole.
The guy said it comes with an SLI bridge... no graphics card comes with an SLI bridge.
This sound just too far fetched. Account made 2 days ago, price too good to be true I mean £220 for a gtx 590!! I have seen all this before stay well clear unless you have money to throw away, if you do Ill take the money.
i thought they did? my 4870 came with xfire bridge
You get SLI bridges bundled with SLI-capable motherboards, not with graphics cards. ATI do it differently.
BARGE POLE, TOUCH?
oh well. i guess back to the drawing board then.
gonna have to wait for kepler then pay a bomb
He uses "pal" in every sentence. Sounds like a chav to me. It's either stolen or you won't get it.
I'd even be cautious about buying it via ebay/paypal in case he has a good cover story if you get something that's not working or something....
There is no way a genuine seller would sell a 590 at that price. No ebay history says it all.
"However he has not been rated seemingly so can't tell if dodgy or not"
yeah i noticed the pal thing too lol. he is from manchester so probs a chav.
yeah not gonna buy it. thanks for everyone's advice.
now the question is just waiting for nvidia's release and seeing whether to go with that or ati's 7970
Yeah pal best avoid it.
I am gonna wait for Nvidia's next if it's any good pal.
thanks for the advice pal.
i might see you down the chippy tonight pal, unless you are busy defending the estate
i saw your citroen saxo btw yesterday pal, nice whip
I had one or two calling me "pal" on ebay. I think in both cases the auction turned out to be a scam.
One was a high end PC soundcard that many people were bidding on. It was one of those multiple auctions and the final price was much lower than shop price but still over £100.
Many people paid, I didn't pay because I was suspicious. Turns out no one received anything from the crim.
yep sent him back a message saying didnt seem legit so have to say no
and no i didnt add that pal lol
Unless the guy is a complete moron, there's not a chance in hell it would be legit.
Nobody sells a current gen graphics card worth near £600 for just over £200, especially when your later messages makes it sounds like he was talking about a new sealed box. :\
You definitely did the right thing in pulling away from the trade.
Forgot the obligatory 'pal'.
Separate names with a comma.
