Just tested another EVGA Cheesecake and with new bios the cooler is inaudible.
Can't say the same about coils though.

I haven't had any problems with mine thankfully, apart from the odd loading screen when the fps goes through the roof.

Does anyone run their 970 overclocked 24/7? Any concerns?

My EVGA SC is running at their Cheesecake clock speeds (+50) all the time. No other change and zero problems, still very quiet.

Yeah I do. I'm concerned about how awesome it is at 1455mhz.

    :eeek:

Would you mind sharing your settings? I've installed afterburner, but it did not like booting with my tweeks - although it benched fine.

Do you guys use EVGA precision or Afterburner? What do you have your core clock set to? Many thanks

I run mine overclocked all the time, at a core clock of 1316. I use afterburner as i like the monitoring window. So many pretty graphs.

Gigabyte just unveiled the 'Twin Turbo' 970 - aftermarket cooler, but this one is a blower. Would really like to see more of these.

They could have at least included a bloody back plate!!!

Other than that it will be interesting to see the temps it produces under full load :thumb:

I agree! Its not pretty either, but I'd really like to see more aftermarket blower style coolers pop up.

Well I would like to be running a shiny new MSI GTX 970 right now, but it seems to have shuffled off this mortal coil before I even put it in a PC...
