Oi. That's the Khaleesi you're ogling. Show some respect. Of course, IIRC, she's only 14 in the books. I'm guessing some of the kids will be made that much older due to the hanky panky the ones in question get up to Spoiler For example - Dany and Drogo's wedding night . Whilst HBO doesn't shy away from fairly graphic scenes of rumpy pumpy, I can't see them signing up for showing it with minors. I'm pretty sure the broadcasting authorities would have a dim view of it as well.
Never heard of it. But if it's HBO it's good. There are rules about such things. Oh and read this on wiki “The Sopranos in Middle-earth” That's my kind of concept.
More pics here: http://www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/2011/1/7/latest-set-photos.html?commenting=1 Winter is Coming had a 15min sneak peak, and has details about it here. Shame I got rid of Sky last month anyways here is the full preview from the HBO site and a Wired article about it.
The preview on the HBO site is the same as the two YouTube vids, BTW. The GeekDad article is spot on the money though. And in related news - A Dance of Dragons is finally being published! http://www.georgerrmartin.com/news.html http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dance-Dragons-Book-Song-Fire/dp/0002247399/ref=tmm_hrd_title_0 http://www.amazon.com/Dance-Dragons-Song-Ice-Fire/dp/0553801473/ref=ase_georrmar/
Apache 2 Test Page powered by CentOS Is what I get from the link. But, I just started reading the first book last weekend - pretty excited about this show now. The book is pretty awesome so far .
Found this on the SFX website. Not watched yet as youtube gets blocked at work, but acording to them it's worth watching if you haven't read the books, as it gives an introduction to who’s who and what’s what in the land of Westeros & lands across the sea: Speaking of which, here's a fab map of Westeros:
Just had my Sky 'never-miss' reminder email for Game of Thrones: 22:10, April 18th, Sky Atlantic & Sky Atlantic HD
I started reading the books but never got that far with them. Hopefully it will be a good adaptation of the story for those that are interested in the books. As for me, I've forgotten what I've read in the first book so I won't be picky like some readers of the books might be, and from what is posted HERE it might not be all good news for fans of the books, but this looks like nit picky things so the majority should be fine. It's about time an epic fantasy story was given the HBO treatment. Hopefully the ratings are good and it sticks around for a few series. Looking forward to it though, and although I don't have Sky I will get my "friend" to record it for me
