Congrats bro. I'm 3 years from that, but still got an A Level in Law yesterday.

Anyway, ChemCamp finished. Got up early, spent breakfast with friends, was slightly ashamed by how I had more bags than anyone else. Did clock reactions, and managed to spend plenty of time with friends at breaktime and became ultracompetitive with the lass who I first worked with, and won.

In the end, I got a picture of the entire ChemCamp, pictures of the friends and a few numbers. Glad to see my parents and sister though.

Albeit it did take 6hrs to get back home :/

Congrats on a beautiful build. I love the Bitfenix Prodigy case so much, I think I'm going to have to get one for myself :D

Congratulations! What type of engineering are you going to specialize in?

    As did mine :p

For HTC it isn't perfect unless they get Sense and all their apps in it (not the "all"). Which is possible that it couldn't be done, but who uses Sense anyway, right ? :D

At Oxford you do Engineering Science, so a bit of everything, then specialise as you go on, but I think I'll end up going towards the mechanical side of things :)

Our exams were clearly harder ;-)

Ah cool, that's handy. In our uni's, we start off with a specialist course right from the beginning - in my case it was Electronics, Comms & Software - and then towards the end of the degree you pick a specialism within that area. I chose digital electronics because I hated every communications module I ever had to study and software, whilst being the programming of hardware at a base level rather than writing high level programs in our case, was not my favourite either.

Doing it our way is sort of "heavy" if you understand what I mean. In the course that I studied, you had to eat, sleep and breathe electronics for a long four years. The idea of studying Engineering Science (which made up one module per year of my course) in general and then picking a specialism would be quite nice in hindsight. The course that I'm doing PT at the moment is a mixture of electronics, mechanics and materials, which is a really nice change compared to 6 or 7 hours per day of electronics lectures :p

The other advantage of doing it the "Oxford way" is that you don't end up with tiny lecture classes - for example, 15 electronics students in a class, which gets whittled down to 12 after first year when three people decide they don't want to sit through 6-7 hours of electronic theory on a Friday

    Night was ok..

Not great couldn't seem to organise themselves and we didn't get into a club till 12 which closed at 3am so by the time you get to the bar it's been an hour what was frustrating is they seemed to stand on he bus stop near the club.. For like half an hour

Alot of them wanted to go home at 1am but stayed longer ended up in my favourite club to finish the night with only 2 out of 12 who came....and 45 minutes before it shut

It was alright I can't complain I'm hangover free but it wasn't fun when you spend the night trying to get everybody to have a little fun

Just got back from training with my mates. An hour and a half of cardio and bag work after an 8 week layoff.
I feel like hammered ****, but it doesn't half feel awesome.

    Its a small world

    A friend of a friend

I've only spoken to her once, coincidence she started working at the same place i do different department.

That being said we never bump into each other at work so its hard to actually speak to her or even be in the same place at the same time, and so its been limited to the occasional eye contact and a smile.
