    Nice.
Specific model number? This looks like an SA-series to my eyes (but my eyes are bad, and the Ibanez S were never my "thing" - I am more of an RG player... )

I had been eyeing this mouse for two years, but it was never available at a decent price here. Now it finally is, so I picked it up, since the old one was on it's way out anyway.

Razer Orbweaver Chroma. Hoping it'll be a nice upgrade from the Nostromo I've been using for the last few years. Really looking forward to the adjustablity of this model, though I feel like the thumbstick might actually be less useful than the DPad on the Nostromo.

Took me an embarrassing length of time to realise that those keys weren't for some alien language I've never encountered.

Mother decreed she required a new keyboard, specifically with backlighting and on a budget. so came up with a Gigabyte K7, shes like a kid in a sweet shop. New monitor, new mouse an now the keyboard.

Canon 7D Mk.II to go with the 100-400L I bought last summer.

My kit is more or less complete now, just waiting for a good deal on the BG-E16 battery grip for the 7D2 — it's $300 here, which is just silly. The 50D becomes the second body for wide(r) angle shots and the 450D is officially relegated to backup body status.

Next step - a new editing rig when I have some more money.

Have you considered a 3rd party compatible model?

    These finally turned up.

First prototype PCB order; went pretty damn smoothly. Now comes the part where I realised that I've totally goofed something in the schematic/layout.

Honestly, nothing that special, it's just a 555-based circuit to blink an LED (hence "Blinkenlights" ;)).

It's more for me to get practice with SMD soldering and PCB layout. I want to get back into electronics and I really need to go surface-mount; can't do that on veroboard so that also means I really need to learn how to make a PCB.
