Back issues is bad enough Gareth, no need to add a hip problem.
So stick to stock and cancel the trackball mod.

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

They also make a 1980 Chicago PD squad car, but I don't want to buy 105 of them to chase the Bluesmobile!

I was just about to pull trigger on this, when I realised it was the same one you bought. Is it up to scratch, Ian?

How's it going with the spikey torture mat Gareth?

Hope it's helped a little at least.

I think it does! I still absolutely *hate* the first couple of minutes on it, and I haven't worked out the best way to get off it at the end without further pain, but the 20 minutes inbetween is actually pretty nice!

    I'm glad to hear!

The best way to get off, yeah that's tricky. My instinct is to peel it off quickly like a plaster but that could undo any help it's made so 99/100 it tends to get slowly peeled off like an old scab

Ordered a couple of treats for myself:

    Quansheng UV-K5 (8) radio:

For receive only at the moment as I don't have my ham license yet, but it will be reprogrammed to the license free channels in the mean time. Sadly whilst it technically can transmit on CB, it chucks out all the harmonics as well so best to just stick to receive only on that for now.

And, an Ork A-Team van and crew.

Going to have to do a bit of playing around as I cannot see BA letting anyone else drive whilst he shoots out of the top, but we shall see.

Excel 8.5" 216mm Mitre Saw Large Base 1500W/240V with Laser & Leg Stand
    [IMG]
£130 for the saw AND stand. Bargain as stands are at least £60. Is needed for..

    Bavaria Wood wall panelling
    [IMG]

Which is going in the lounge, but going to herringbone it, and will need a fair few of 45° cuts and will do half length planks to get a bit more of the pattern in.

Will also do well for all the other trim, building wardrobes later this year and a whole bunch of other stuff in the house and garden.

Wise investment, I did our living room in herringbone (1,200 blocks!) and I did it all with an old mitre saw just sat on the floor, I bought a new one with a stand afterwards and I really ought to have bought it before.

Hopefully quicker and better than any of my previous manual attempts to polish the car. Got some Meg's Ultimate Compound too so will have a go at removing some light stonechips/grazes.

£46 delivered with a discount code and I already have two 4mAh batteries from my other tools.

4mAh? Should be good for maybe 5 seconds each then.
