Positive air pressure is your friend.

More (filtered) air going in than (unfiltered) air going out keeps most dust out of the case. If you have bottom intakes (ooh err missus) then raise the case on a pedestal as mentioned above.

 

Even with my case on the desk I don't want a case without easily removable dust filtration!

 

Desk size mousemats are a pita to keep clean,

 

Mine isn't desk sized but one of those sticky lint rollers gets used on mine for most of the where-did-that-come-from-crap

 

Mine isn't desk sized but is still large, I hand wash it in the sink now and again, seems to be lasting.

 

My desk isn't mat sized, but I find the Ikea fake-leather desk mat is very easy to clean and durable, just wipe it down with damp cloth.

 

What is the left hand flap for? Is it removable?

 

Not removable unfortunately. I think it's a product of old fashioned paper era, where you may use it as paper weight for import documents you are going to sign.

It's by Jadine Woner, there are about 4 in the series, I might pick up the ladybird tank if I see it whilst out n about

 

That's a nice print! I saw the pylons and stores attached to some kind of animal/insect wing in the first picture so it caught my eye. Very nice indeed

 

Slight update to the desk. VW camper is meant to light up, just not plugged it in. Still bits to do but its getting better.
Decorating is needed though.
