Ordered some of this Colpermin as I've not actually looked at specific medication yet - always focussed on diet.

    Age is a bugger.

I can't tolerate gluten anymore which is annoying.

I accidentally had one of my OHs Yorkshire puddings a while back and soon after had a solid bloated stomach and felt like crap.

It's not so bad until it gets to bread.

We also don't have lactose in the house for the OH so if it is that then it's much easier to work around as there's plenty of lactose free dairy out there.

Luckily I'm not extremely bad, feel for you mate.

Every now and then I may cave and treat myself to a thin slice of toasted sourdough but even that is tempting fate.

Fortunately it's not a life or death issue.

My OH's friends kids are so allergic to so many things and have end up in hospital several times. One of them even had a massive reaction to just being in a room where there had been flour.

    Immune systems are finicky things.

From my own experience, they lie about the size like a man does before they stick it up your arse.

Not only that, they pump your turd channel with air to open the colon so they can get a better view.

The farts you will do afterwards are legendary, so keep your phone handy to record them in the recovery room.

Also, don’t forget this part. Say yes to the midazolam.

Or bring your own poppers if you like butt fun.

I’ve not had a solid **** in almost 15 years. Constantly carry multiple packs of Imodium with me, have to buy them in 24 boxes at a time off eBay.

Most food and drink sets me off, but I cba to change my diet. Life’s too short to be eating boring food and drink.

Washing machine decided to randomly start leaking all over the kitchen floor, not the end of the world as we'd wanted to replace it at some point anyway as it's a bit noisy and only 6kg, however it turns out it's a shallow unit and so there are some pipes (copper) behind it for the tap which are too far forward for a normal depth dishwasher, so got to call a plumber and find out a) why it was done that way and b) what it's going to cost to change it.

    A) because it was easier for the person doing it
    B) a lot

Saved you some time there, mate. :thumb:

Oh no doubt it was easier, shouldn't be too much to change it I hope as looks like there's space for them, just need an extra corner solder/fitting which is probably why it wasn't done that way I'd guess.

    Self induced PTSD.

For some reason we're both in and our mattress is due for delivery.

One week to the day where, at the same time, we were waiting for the vets to arrive to deal with our poor kitty cat.

I've never found waiting for a delivery so stressful.

While less frequent than they used to be, some days are just painful. And when there's a few on the bounce it gets a bit wearing that I still have to put up with this ****, despite the pills and the patches. And then you remember that this is it now, this is how it will be till death. Maybe a bit worse, maybe less frequent, only time will tell. Hindsight can go **** itself with a cricket bat handle.

Not so much ruining my life, at least not yet, but the wifelet has been throwing up all night with very little warning. 2 showers overnight and associated jammies changes...

I am not working at home this week either so not really able to look after her (and make sure that she is drinking to make up the losses - don't want another middle of the night dehydration trip to the hospital).

I have not shown any symptoms as yet, so I am hoping that it is something that she ate rather than the lurgy. Fingers crossed - last thing we need is both of us bad at the same time...

Finally got around to changing the disc pads / disc, doing my first one and hear a prang, suspension has snapped, so I guess 4 new coil springs, top mounts, bearings and all the other stuff that goes along with it… ugh

Or just a pair of springs, no need to replace bearings, mounts, bushes or anything if they aren't at the end of their useful life and still work.

Look at it this way: sometimes it's good to let the body have a little spring clean...
