Hi , first thanks to everyone who tell me all their greats comments and inspiration :thumb:

this is a big moma coming from an old nissan micra, it is made of copper and its mesurements fit very well with the 5.25 bay :D

I M not a professional, it is just hobby for me , the painting is rather easy to get, you just need paintbrush to do it ;) and a little artistic touch to apply the oxydant solution where it fit nice :)

Excelent work, Piloux! This is one of the coolest looking pieces of Half-ife Fanware I have ever seen! It looks bloody friggin awesome! As for the metal wires, how does chrome rust? You're probably going to have to scratch up the chrome, and wear it out and THEN apply your poaint job. Otherwise, it might not work right. Have a good one!

cool idea trailing the fan wires out of the case that way instead of trying to hide them completely. looks good.
I had a look for the rust effect paints ut cant seem to find them in the UK :waah: ohwell. I believe the make of paint Piloux is using is actually american, as they are based in the U.S. and i can only find U.S. distributors!!
not much use when you realise they wont airmail them anyway.

I haven't really read much, so here is an idea that might have been suggested. Some type of display, now obviously it would need be made to work with this. Try and get a lcd/vfd and get it cracked, partially. Do the rusted thing, or something of that nature. The second thought was to get the tubes that displayed numbers, I can't remember what type they're called, but I wonder if they have ones with letters. Have five or so display scrolling messages. Just an idea. Could even have one of the tubes broken, or a few of them.

very nice work. the tubes look cool.. although I kind of liked the dirty white wires too - i guess thats part of the benefit of doing a rusted up junk case ;)

Wow, looks wonderful...can't say enough about it.

As for the wires/sleeving - I hope you aren't planning to use the same type of rust. Not that it looks bad, but since the sleeving is silver/chrome, a different type of rust might add some variety.

    Great work! :jawdrop:

What are you going to do with the watercooling tubing? I think it would be very hard to paint them. Maybe you could let the tubing sit outside in the sun and let them age up, turn a little yellow, you know?
