I went with the LG IPS235v-BN and am a little disapointed tbh.
Graphics are great games look amazeballs. The colours are much better and very crisp and clear. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for text. It seems a little blurred.

I have tried all the modes and settings but it doesn't seem to get any better. I have it set to it's native resolution and have the latest drivers for my GPU.

Any suggestions welcomed. Considering sending it back.

Zoom in more (through your browser)?

    Run Windows ClearType?

Change the DPI to Medium in Windows?

Are you sure haven't just got used to the size yet?

Still not entirely happy with the text quality. Have frigged around with almost every setting now. Have even turned the gamma down to help a little.

Using DVI-D cable at the moment is it worth trying hdmi?

DVI and HDMI will give, in practice, the exact same digital image, so unless there is actually something wrong with your DVI cable I highly doubt that will make any difference.

What you need to do is make sure your contrast/gamma/brightness are all correct, and that your cleartype is then adjusted so that you can easily see text.

Either use windows calibrator (just search 'calibrate' in the search box), or places like http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ to ensure your settings are ok.
