Graphics 6800le oc and performance

    i just bought a 6800le, but no luck on unlocking piplines, only 1 vertex shader
    i followed the guideline on Softmodding-howto but still too much artifact, is there any other tips any have?

    and is a stock 6800le better than 6600gt?

    at stock, the 6600GT is faster, with unlocked pipes (even if only 4) the 6800LE is better, try overclocking your 6800LE see wht sort of results you get.

    Should overclock quite well with just 8 pipes.
    Try unlocking just a few of the pipelines and see what happens tbh. Also try 1 of the hardware masked pipes open with one of the current enabled closed and see if that helps..

    i tried just enable the hardware masked pipe with all other pipe disable, and 1 enabled shader, the result is little better than before, but still bad

    how often can a 6800le unlock to 12 pipline and which brand?
    i m thinking sell my card and buy another 6800le, thats if i can find a place that sells it

    One of my friends got one from misco, XFX branded and it unlocked 3 out of 4 pipelines.

    I got an XFX on and fully unlocked and overclocked it and it runs like a dream :)

    well i think the general feeling is most of them will unlock to 12 pipelines and alot will go on and unlock fully.

    its all about luck, my leadtek unlock to 16x5, and overclocks nicely. It just depends i guess.

    This Apoen card runs 12*6 24/7 stable, with some minor crapping at 16*6, but AA fixes that...
    Mates card wont run anything other than 8*6 without producing visual artifacts though :(

    i oc the card to 370/850, it passed 3dmark03, but the score didnt increased and says only 300mhz on vga core and 850 on mem, i also checked on nvidia drive, it says 370/850.....which one is right? did 3dmark or the card limited the speed?
