I may or may not have a dodgy stick of RAM. As I am going to be upgrading to a Z170M next week I thought that prior to selling the kit on along with mobo and 2500k I would test each individual stick.

I have memtest86 is there anything esle I can do/use to fully test the RAM?

    Memtest http://hcidesign.com/memtest/

This is what I've always used for memory testing when I don't have the time or the will to run LinX.

LinX is probably a more thorough test but it can be a bit of a pain to get it to run correctly.

Use MemTest86 as it has been said before, it detects any errors in the memory modules. Aida is more for performance testing.

Yeah I saw that with Aida. And I have Memtest 86 so will go with that.

    As ever thanks all.
