Not PC related, but here are some vases I modelled for a new wallpaper. This one's not on the site yet, as it's getting a refurb as we speak, but I thought I'd show you anyway. Let me know what you think.

What are you using to render with again stuartwood89? Something with caustics? Those vases look good.

Should try something nice and simple like that (modelling wise I mean), as it's very effective. Instead I've taken daaays modelling my motherboard, modelling every little component. About 80% done, but I was soo bored of doing it I moved onto the power supply as a break.

These are for my Lian-Li V300 designs that I'm doing. Will be ready to start my project log soon I hope.

I'm rendering with Kerkythea 2008. I agree that you should start with simple objects to get to grips with the render program. If you like, once you've finished with your motherboard model, send me a PM and I'll render it for you. I'll also give you a little tutorial on how I did it if you need it.

It's alright, I'm relitively experienced with rendering, using mentalray or vray though.

Here's a couple of quick screen shots showing where I'm at with my designs:

Hopefully not too much longer, although the motherboard still isn't finished. Then there's ram, videocard and waterblock, res, pump, tubing and cabling left. Better get cracking.....

Does anyone know where I can find simple things like HDDs, fans, dvd drives and the such for Solidworks? I can model them up but id rather not waste my time on such simple things.

Ive found some good HDD, disk drives, 40mm-120mm fans and buttons/switches. What exactly are you looking for, I have a few more models that aren't on the site?

You guys should really learn/ be bothered to model your own stuff. Just a colouring in thread otherwise (except for the box)...
