A/V Camcorder/Firewire Question

    Just a quick on really, I've just started using my camcorder again its a JVC GR-D50 and i'm just wondering what firewire cable i need so i can plug it into my PC. After looking on ebuyer there seems to be a few combinations of 6pin-6pin, 6pin-4pin cables etc

    Which one do i need?

    Small firewire = 4-pin
    Big firewire = 6-pin

    For a camcorder you most likely need a 4-pin to 6-pin.
    The only difference is that 6-pin leads carry power too.
