Have you thought about changing the colour of the res so that it is say green, and fits in with the overall view of the case ?

Richley this is an english speaking forum, but indeed the carbon ramcooler cover is very much like the one snakez made. Either way it looks great :thumb:

A long evening with the file and sanding paper.

    First hole done.

    2 to go.

    And 1 to go.

So that’s fit just 4 small ones to go.

    This little parts by hand.

And with the round file the rounding.

    Last peace with sanding paper.

After 3 hours the is the Carbon Dominator Cooler

That Corsair wants to hide the screws, I understand that, but a sticker is not the right way.

And in the case it’s look like this.

The last part from the update the different between the original en the carbon one.

Thanks for the compliments. But a Dutch guy gives me the hint to make carbon on the fans from the cooler. Good idea. I hope I can make that. ;)

@Jaxen, I paid 175 euro for the plate carbon. 1750 x 1500 x 2 mm and that is not hurting my wallet. ;)
So that’s cheap when you check this Site

Today I workout frickY’s idea. Chancing the stickers for Carbon.

    The saw job.

This sanding machine does a lot of the work.

    Last part by hand.

And there the are, just with the alu on it.

I think it’s all right. Glue it together.

Than put it in the case the see how it looks.

The white plexi must go out of the case.

    Making a new one.

I think it’s better than with the white plexi.

    As last one the difference.

    See you soon

I like the carbon but maybe it's a bit too much, I'm missing some contrast. Otherwise nicely done, the finish is good :)

I've never worked with carbon so excuse the ignorance but does carbon have any reflective properties? I was just thinking about how it would look if a LED was directed at the fans' centers while they were spinning. Might result in a bit of a light show if it is reflective. Could be interesting.

    @silentT, thanks.

    A very small update.

Starting to glue the carbon on the alu from the case. Polyurethaanlijm 2K Expert

Litelle glue is still in the corner but I remove that. Tomorrow

Tomorrow I can start with drill some extra holes for the led’s

    See you soon
