    THAT is dire. I do not want CPC | B-T who are 5th in the world to come last the first year that we participate, everyone who is currently reading this please go and change every client that you have to username CPChimps and run as many WUs as you possibly can, we are WAY behind the rest so far.

    Situations like this require extreme motivation, so;

    Our PPD has improved since the challenge started, and we are now hitting 370K+ points per day, however at this rate it is going to take well over a month for us to reach 20M points and I for one am unwilling to leave my own username with a flat 0 point graph for that long.

    I understand that taking part is what's important but to be perfectly honest with you, OCN won this challenge the second that they convinced barnettworks to join their CC team. If he was folding as a team on his own he'd still be producing more PPD than the rest of the teams participating. That being said, I don't really care if OCN win or not... I am however disappointed that we are currently last by such a large margin. I didn't expect that we would be last out of 8 teams but looking at the rest of the teams chimp challenge members I can see that we have about 15 folders whilst some of them have something more along the lines of 150 members, all producing a lot of points.

    It's annoying that OCN have changed this competition so much the first year that we are taking part, and I can only hope that next year MPC enforce some rules (JackOfAll and myself have been discussing this a little) and make the challenge fair again, instead of what (IMO) it has been turned into this year, from fun to a bit of a farce.

    Have to agree with Unicorn here, I am extremely disappointed to see just how organised and prepared the other teams were for the challenge. :(
    As stated in another post, now we know the strength of the opposition, maybe next year with a little more preparation and input/support from the Magazine we will be better placed to offer some sort of resistance!

    :eeek: - that low?!

    I, for one, will go down fighting. Just waiting for another K9A2 and CPU to arrive, and my other board to complete the RMA.

    Agreed, we need more folding publicity, starting now, to build-up a pool of folders to call on for the next challenge.

    Chaps, I'm really not trying to stir this anymore than I already have, but you should be aware of this. On OCN there is a thread Say we win the CC about after/if they win (started by no less than a forum moderator) about donating their points to other teams and thereby influencing the results of the other positions. I'd expect to see this slapped down straight away by either their admin/owner of the site or their challenge team captain. It has not been so far. YMMV.

    Jeez - what will they think of next! At least there are a few dissenters on that board.

    I DO NOT want outsiders help.

    Hmmn that's an interesting idea. I think we're more than capable of losing on our own.

    Well, that's the point isn't it. Win, lose or draw, another team (or members folding for that team) that has finished the challenge should not be allowed to influence or manipulate the results of, or finishing position of another team. Sure, it's not in "the rules" but it damn well should be.

    What I meant to say was.
    I don't agree with other teams influencing the result either.
    I Guess they just want the challenge to finish as it's not over until the last team gets 20m

    However as we're going to take another 55 days to finish I'm not sure what to do as that's a long time not to be scoring any points.
