Work in progress, it was really complicated to find time between my job, my girlfriend, my family, my last week end in Marseilles, etc...

But i found some time to spend on the project.

I know i made a big mistake with the fans plate. That will be really complicate to finish the first graphic card air cooling.

Like it's a SLI, for the second card, i'll do a carter in U for the base card and a L for the fans plate/rear card.

There are just people who do nothing who not made mistake.. no?

 

anyway grafix cover idea is awesome!
is there any isolation/thermal compound between card's back an cover?

At this time there is no isolation only 2mm separate de back and the card, there are no contacts, i think i'll probably glue a part of cover of plastic binder between those. I allready use this plastic for modelism when i was young, and i know this material has a good resistance to heat.. I just believe in fact.

Another idea maybe?

And for waiting, I prepared all screws and aluminium tubing to support fans.





And install definitly the GC.

 

Big mistake, my aluminium plate was to thin, only 0.8mm, so i'm doing it again in 2mm.

And i'm making it in two pieces!!

That will be easier for assembly and to clean dust..

Allright, i restart my graphik card case in 2mm. It's most heavy to form it than 0,8mm

An i received what i was looking for:

2 Cooler Master fans Blade Master. 40,3 CFM per fan, so that will give 80 CFM per grafik card!!! Mouaaaaaaaa!!!! LOt of horsepower!! CFM i'd like to say!!!

And thanks to Cooler Master to send me their fans!!!

Yep, i'll paint it! Probably in glossy white. But one thing afraid me with painting, i think that will catch more dust..

Nice job and I do know about neightbors (especially in Paris ). I was the first one to cast my vote (white) ... but I whished it could be orange (with white stripes), would look amazing.
