I guess people still check this thread... so here is another post. This time the motherboard is from ASRock using the Fatal1ty brand to differentiate their X79 motherboard.

    ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Professional

tbh... if i am going to have red/black mobo colour scheme i would rather buy the Asus IV Formula.

Oh and the source link which was via ASRock:

Fatal1ty is too much of a moneywhore. Seriously.

He still plays CS:S, doesn't he? What does he need SB-E for?

When I was trolling through ASRock's website I did see a few other mobos which I have not seen before. The downside is that everyone of these have a fan on the chipset heatsink.

    ASRock Extreme 6/GB
This motherboard seems to support the wants of some consumers... by having the standard 4 channels with the extra two. It does make it unique.... I guess.

    ASRock Extreme 4
    So the middle ranking board???

    ASRock Extreme 3
    The cheapest one...

Oh and if you are getting confused with all these boards... here's the list

I never know whether to laugh or cry at Fatal1ty branded products.

All x79 motherboards have a fan... Some have 2...

No they don't, there are many examples in this very thread of passively cooled X79 boards.
