Change the tranparency of the radar to something like cl_radaralpha 75 or something like that, if you are having this problem.

Played a couple of hours with it last night. Not bad. You soon get used to it. did start to actually find it pretty useful when you could see your teammates closing in from the other direction on enemies.

Was there a radar before then?

Shows how much I use it. Although at first I didn't find it useful (I found it a way to help n00bs) I prefered to listen to footsteps to gain advantage. Now this will make it a lot harder to win, which might be a good thing (not that I won much anyway.)

Maybe steam could have an option to turn the radar off, so some servers for professional gamers/experienced players could have the radar turned off?

The radar's very useful, it lets you know if it's a team-mate coming round the corner into your sights, or an enemy. Without it your reaction's slowed or you chance opening up on a friendly. That and it shows you where the bomb is, also very useful.

And when some radios for backup, it helps to find them. A useful tool IMO.

LEAX, 1.6 doesn't need updates as it is the embodiment of perfect gaming :D

(not really, 1.4 kicks its ass, but anyway... ;) )
