Would definitely agree, gaming wise I should definitely stick with the 7970's but as far as work goes, rendering and general CS6 use, the nVidia's have a distinct edge, and since thats my bread and butter, Im forced to weigh that side heavier than the gaming. Thats also the reason Im going up to the 4gb cards as the extra VRAM will help in work more than games for me.
Here you go, forget to post them until I did some traces on Black Op's 2 servers lol. Anyway here are the pictures. Don't worry about the fans showing as though they are not spinning, it seems the camera took the picture and managed to get it to look like they are not spinning, as I was worried so just checked and they are spinning lol. http://imageshack.us/a/img827/218/32836252.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img405/1586/37253958.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img855/5012/40279343.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img221/4569/91811223.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img842/6575/32612992.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img19/9876/34042145.jpg
@TG regarding Far Cry 3, the issue with high FPS being badly jerky isn't due to CF or anything, my single GTX580 does the same thing. 60FPS but the game graphics are stuttering about like 25 as you said.
I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm home from work, and see what I can do with RadeonPro to see if I can fix that problem with Farcry 3. Thanks for the heads up.
Farcry 3 runs fine from what ive noticed with all settings on ultra. I have not played it more than 2-3hrs but id of expected to notice that sort of thing. ( thats sli 680s) Maybe AMD problem but can not really see how or why.
Thanks pal, Im trying to sort out what to keep and what to sell, and what to keep and then I can sort my budget and go from there! Thanks for takin the time to put those up though, helps tonnes!
