I've had people ask about clear coating the di-noc, and will try it with Enamel automotive clear

I applied 3M DI-NOC Black carbon fiber film onto the TUF shield on the ASUS Sabertooth P67 Motherboard



The Di-Noc has been one of the prizes I'll periodically offer for bit-tech MOTM. You can also apply it onto Power Supplies, Cases, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Drive faces, Headphones, Bezel, Fan controllers, Toggle switchs etc. 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber film

just a question, if you are to remove it can you just heat gun it and pull it off or will it leave a sticky residue?

@cool_dude, as long as you don't use the 3M Substrate Primer, Soapy water on a cloth has worked for me.

Yes, just heat the di-noc with a Heat Gun, for curved and rounded surfaces. I demonstrate what happens when you apply heat in this video.

 

seems like it has a nice elasticity to it!

 

The 3M stuff is excellent, I did the fuel filler cap on my car last year, very easy to use but you need to apply heat then doing non-flat surfaces!

 

Yeah, it's really amazing material.
