Steam Fallout New vegas

Fullout New Vegas is now ready for pre-download on steam for those of us that have pre-ordered it.

 

Pre-ordered and downloaded!

And I said I was going to wait for the game of the year edition...

 

Not completed Fullout 3 yet, so I'll wait when they pack all the DLC into the GOTY edition for 15 pounds

 

They did have a very good offer during QuakeCon, I got it (with DLC) at 20€.

 

FAllout New Vegas looks like it'll be good but i will definitely not pick this up on day 1. I'll wait for the GOTY edition.

Any chances of there being a Fallout 3 GOTY edition sale on steam anytime soon? I need to finish that game but i want all the DLC.

 

For some reason Amazon won't sell me the ultimate edition of Fallout New Vegas for PC but they will for PS3 and Xbox.

 

Just started playing Fallout 3 again today. I got it for Christmas in 2009 but never gave it the time it deserved. So far today I've played for about 4 hours and am making some progress. Possibly the best and most atmospheric game I've ever played, and I've been playing since Wolf 3D on a 486

 

I have to start FO3 again, some ******* stole my xbox and a load of games inc. that one.

And my Dad is dawdling with the insurance claim to replace it, while if it was some of the stuff he was worried about having been stolen (silver, heirlooms etc) he'd be all over the insurers. Ffs. I was hoping that I'd have finished FO3 reasonably well before New Vegas came out but evidently I won't have.

 

I downloaded it last night.

Played Fullout 3 with all the dlc's twice once as a good guy and once as a bad guy one of my favorite games.

 

Same here though i'd be more tempted to get it on release if the plot actually makes sense and follows on from the first 2 games.

 

Bagged mine for £22 from Zavvi, as well as picking up Fallout 3 GOTY for a tenner.

FYI, I already owned Fallout 3, but this was the cheapest way to get all the DLC.

 

At 50 euros Steam can gtfo. I bought it from Amazon instead.

 

This. $60 can GTFO. But I can't buy it from anywhere else living in Taiwan Have to wait for the sales.

 

Can you not get someone to buy it in the UK and send it to you (whether that be digitally or snail-mail) and play that way? I'd volunteer if there's nobody else about.

 

Fallout 3 didn't really grab me. I ended up playing up to the point where I got to the first city outside the vault and gave up. Found it quite boring. I guess I'll give Vegas a try if I ever get round to trying FO3 again and getting further in.

 

Yea I may get my brother to buy me a load of games off steam then just gift them to me. But, urgh, hassle

Same here, still working my way through the Capital Wasteland with Three Dog. Owww!!!

I like the sound of the hardcode mode where ammo has weight and you have to drink water to avoid dehydration. More like the Stalker games

 

Have a look at the Fallout Wanderer edition mod then it includes this and much more. (Infact i'm willing to bet the popularity of the mod is the reason there is a hardcore mode in this game)
