Love the game Only thing that really bugs me is the limit of 2 people for co op. Me and 3 other RL friends all got the game but we cant all do the co op together
How do you actually move the game on? I seem to be doing side quests but I am positive that none are part of the main story or even if there is one. As for loving it it's Far Cry 3 re-skinned. Edit: Ah I think I have figured it out. It is the big letters which when you hover your mouse say campaign mission.
This game sounds fun. I almost finished Far Cry 3 in the past. I think I'm gonna try this out this weekend. So you can play with other player? Same main game only two of us? Something like Dead Space 3?
I have no idea! Being Glenn 'no mates' I play on my own. There are fortresses that can need a second player to capture. I just off to attack one on my own as I have just weaken one by managing to kidnap it's boss. Watch this space.
Right so you can play co op with 1 other, however you cant play main campaign together. This leaves the open world map and all the side quests you can do together. Fly around, hunt animals, assassinate generals, blow up convoys, take over camps or even fortresses and general mucking about. the main story missions you have to do by yourself. After that theres also a bunch of multiplayer modes which dont really impact on your main game
Just beat my first fortress. It was a hard battle but there are more than one entrances so kept near them than ran or swam to the next. Helicopters were a bit tricky as I did not have a rocket launcher. But a good battle overall.
If its the cave one you can drop down from above and silent kill most from inside. Disabling alarms along the way Also for choppers dont forget the use of explosive arrows. Very handy
Cleared 2 Fortresses so far, full stealth no alarms. Tricky, but doable, since even if you scout the place theres always that one a-hole hiding somewhere that pops out when you dont want him to. Or if you have to redo it theres always the one obvious guy you forget to tag...
No this was the one you weaken after kidnapping it's boss in another quest. With this one you can sneak in via the river. Good tip on the arrows. How do you switch arrow types by the way?
That's what I did in Far Cry 3 - used to go up the hill, lie down and take down all alarms and guards with sniper rifle. Lovely game. Anyway, started the 4 - just a bit of game, finished prologue. Looking nice, love the views. It's gonna be a nice game.
Hold Q and press R or (i think) T. When you Hold Q and the menu pops up, it shows on the bottow right which key to press for fire or explosive arrows
There is a cave entrance to the left of the fortress that takes you in through the back, from where you can bow/silent pistol/knife. Otherwise you can go up the right side ridgeline (there's a grapple point there, or you can wingsuit onto the wall from the nearby radio tower. Here's the silent cave method:
