It was the only footy game that allowed you to kick the ball at 45 degrees to the direction you were running in and then half of that again - so in increments of 22.5 degrees. Years ahead of its time but an absolute pita to get the joystick movements down. Once it was sussed though, it was so good, so, so good!
Has to be Baldur's Gate for me. That game had a great plot and so much depth in character customisation. I don't think I could play it again now though... it would feel too clunky compared to the newer BioWare RPGs like Dragon Age or KOTOR. Guess I could always pick up the Enhanced Edition at some point.
In terms of hours spent playing it has to be Final Fantasy VII, but I'd say Deus Ex and Mass Effect 2 are close behind.
Interstate '76 - Played it and played and played it, never got bored of it and I loved the story. Cars with guns, what wasn't there to like
I still play it. It does feel a bit clunky and isn't as slick as the modern games. But it does have way more depth and challenge though which makes up for it. I want to try the enhanced edition soon too.
Tough call really. Diablo 2 Resident Evil 4 Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater All of them compete for the number 1 slot. I think MGS3 probably edges them but I have sunk hundereds if not more hours into D2... Snake Eater is one of the best games ive ever played atm.
So many, actually. At different phases in my life. UT '99 is probably the game I spent the most time in, thanks partially to me modding it. Diablo 2 is the game I spent the most time in. SWKOTOR II is the game I _probably_ enjoyed most in my entire gaming history.
