News Gamers think about sex way too much

How can we be thinking of sex? I thought all computer gamers were suppose to be overly aggressive with tendancies towards violence.

 

Now we have dual and quad core we can multi-task and do both.

 

well, article aside, and i dont mean to threadjack
but ..... i tried that tower of goo game ... (i was giving my sex-oriented-thoughts a break)
those freaking balls wont stop bouncing, and each time i pick one up
it falls to the ground .... how do you even play it if you cant stick them ??
the mouse has only 2 buttons ... am i using the wrong one ??

 

Drag them close to the existing frame, you should see a shadow of a construction shape appear, if you release the mouse then they will form that piece.

I think a better analysis of gamers thinking of sex too much would be to run a battery of forearm strength and grip tests.

Not that strange. A couple of years ago I read an article on a group of people who called themselves Asexuals. I.E. - they had no sexual preference, they happily lived without sex. You might think this was only ugly fat people, but the article covered a ostensibly normal young good looking person who could obviously easily have found partners. While wikipedia says there is still debate on whether it's a sexual dysfunction or a sexual orientation, I believe the groups themselves strongly feel that asexuality is simply another choice in our modern world.

I suspect it's obvious, but I miss your point.

 

Just goes to show we humans are a strange lot, the whole purpose of an animals existence is to survive and be strong so they can spawn more of themselves. Choosing not to have sex at all is a very unnatural thing to do, but then again, so is having sex with the intention of not making babies.
