    Greetings,

Scratching through my things, I came across my old iPaq Pocket PC with Windows CE 4.20. I'd like to write a program for it but I'm having a hard time finding out what I need to get started. I have Visual C++ 2005 so I'll be using C/C++ to program. But what else do I need?

    Thanks,

    Hello all,

I have eventually finished downloading Embedded Visual C++ 4.0 along with SP4 for it. I have downloaded and installed the Windows CE .NET 4.2 SDK. Is this the correct SDK for WinCE 4.2? Or am I supposed to use the Pocket PC 2000/2003 SDK?

Also, the emulator somewhat resembles Windows 98 in appearance and not my PDA... I have downloaded the Windows Mobile 5.0 Emulator Images, but those run on a separate emulator provided by Microsoft. Is there anyway to use this emulator with Windows Mobile 5.0 with Embedded Visual C++ 4.0? And are there emulator images for WinCE 4.2?

Occasionally Channel 9 has stuff on Mobile development too.
