Just thought of a chest flexing test that doesn't seem to be on the forum as far as I can see, here it is...

Not including any express gate type software, how long does it take for your PC to boot up your OS and get Googles homepage up and running?

I have Firefox with Google as my homepage set up as a quick launch button, and from hitting the power button to Google being up and running is 58 seconds.

Good test? dunno. Interesting? ...for me yep :D

2:52 seconds - it was actually 2:56 but I took off 4 because I opened 2 firefox windows and looked at the latter opened one... :p
Thats down to my lame 1GB of weedy SODIMM, my crummy Celeron M (single core 1.7GHz) and my 5400rpm IDE Notebook Hard Drive... man I miss my computer...
