It's a hell of a long shot but does anyone live in Grantham and own a hex driver used for them bolts that secure a motherboard to a laptop case?
Failing that does anyone know where i can get one?

    Thanks

I'd imagine some Needle-nosed pliers could be used as an alternative.

    Which bolts?

Depending on the laptop, the bolts/screws can be Philips, Torx or Hex; not to mention those few who opt for security bits or proprietary fixings.

You can buy a multi-bit screwdriver and whole sets of bits in most hardware shops - you got a B&Q nearby?

A set of mobile phone tools should work with most screws used in laptops, with the possible exception of the 5-point Torx that Apple have started using.

Try a cheap 1/4" socket set - I picked a spare up for £5 the other day in Homebase and I'm sure that has one small enough to tackle mobo standoffs.

A pair of snub-nosed pliers should tackle it no problem though, unless you're a wussy girl.

What sort of laptop is it? I can't remember the last time I saw a laptop case that had removable standoffs...
