Agreed. I have some ammonia concentrate from an old mylar printer. It smokes when you remove the cap and the humidity hits it.
A little teaser of the paint.... The copper flaked panels need another 3-4 coats of clear as yet to smooth out the granulation from the flakes tho, they are not ready yet. So boss......so Gangster.... If the clear has cured enough for handling then I may build it up tomorrow for a look at how it all gels together.
He goes mental everytime we groom him....for around 3 hours, its full speed growly ragedog. Then he has a biscuit and all is forgiven. And thats me done for the day, bolts all cut back, rads and PSU fitted and the copper back panel is in place. Bolts are M8 bolts with button caps from Pro Bolt. Im too scared to take it up into the loft to take 'studio' (lol) pics as the paint will still scratch easily even tho its hard enough to handle.....
I might need to fly over and see this IRL Really like the looks of it mate. Looking quite forward to see that reservoir filled! It is going to be a heavy little thing!
You are more than welcome Hans,I have to finish it by end of August as ASUS are having it on their stand at i Series. Plus,I will be drunk 18hrs of the day for 3 days,so you will see me at my stunning best. All about dem res....... I have a 901 to do for InWin UK,maybe we should talk about that soon?
Sadly it comes with the territory.... The reason I use the remote start and screen lock on the Aquaero so much is to stop the wags turning the fans off on stand.....not cool at all but people dont give a **** about others work.
A little present for myself,A nice Filco Majestouch Ninja TKL with brown switches. Last pic has the storage for IDORU,will be taking pics later on The res is really boss and so heavy, its currently in the shed awaiting me to go and tap it....Always a nerve wracking time tapping acrylic sheet.
So now we are all about storage, fast and slow... For the fast I have a trio of Crucial m200 SSD's of the 240Gb flavour. All on nice polished 2mm copper mounts. For the slow... Well,WD is my usual choice and why change a habit? A pair of 3Tb Reds will take care of the bulk and a pair of RAIDed 500 Gb Blacks for the scratch drive. The idea is to get some copper plates to stack them together for more storage and to level off the lines. A whole lotta storage bins there.... A desticker operation is in order once they have been tested! In other news,I have ordered my Shapeoko 3!!
The build is looking awesome, as always. Had to google the Shapeoko 3, wish i hadnt... cos now i want one! May I ask... what's the shipping cost on that? J.
