There's not been a human born yet that has no moral compass.

Does it qualify as a moral compass if it for sale to the highest bidder?

Trump may be an a**hole, but at least he is consistent about being an a**hole.

A moral compass just tells you, personally, what's right and wrong, that may however not be the same moral compass others operate by.

EDIT: If for instance a bunch of crippled Mexican ex-service women declared war on America you'd best not come knocking on my door, Trump on the other hand. ;)

Hey, they could have chosen Bernie Sanders.

Well, technically people are born with the mental prerequisites for developing one. Of course, it can also get crushed and they become psychopaths.

Some studies seem to indicate children are born with a moral compass, although that sort of thing is difficult to judge when dealing with babies less than a year old.

They have a sense of empathy, and develop a sense of fairness very quickly. By the time they are two you could say that they have a moral compass.*

    * I am possibly being a bit pedantic. Forum debate does that to me. :p

I could be talking out my backside but IMO any animal with a sense of self-awareness has a moral compass, that's what (again IMO) gives us a sense of good and bad, how would we feel if someone done this to me.

Animal experiments have shown that social animals have empathy and based on that behave in ways that we would interpret as moral or fair (e.g. a rat will choose to forego a treat when it learns that eating it will result in a fellow rat getting an electric shock. There you go: rats are more moral than most politicians. :p).

How many of the rats campaigns does big business need to fund for the rat to take away the treat from the other rat and hand it over to big business?

I always knew. I owned two pet rats and they were a lot more likeable than any politician I've ever known.

Ah. I recall you being oddly sympathetic to rats in a thread. The pets explain a lot.

They could have, if the whole nomination process wasn't rigged. It's beyond me, 319millions folks and they narrowed the cream of the crop to these 2 : /

that's exactly what Gerald Celente said, he mentioned the figure 300million. (hates trump with a passion, Clinton even more so). he said , "this is it, 300million, and this is it?".

voting for Clinton will kill America, simple. voting for trump is a huge gamble? but at least with trump your hopefully avoiding ww3 and kicking in the teeth of the entire establishment.

EDIT: Nevermind. I think I misunderstood.
I'll just leave this from my original comment because it's educational (and relevant) anyway:

Each time there is a decent champion of the people, the establishment crush him. Twelve years ago it was Howard Dean, he was favorite until they sunk his nomination bid with a single misstep (If you can call it a misstep). The guy was actually a very decent human being and still is.

The medias began to say that he was an angry man with a bad temper, that he had problem controlling himself and that he wasn't fit to be the Democrat nominee.
